A focused question makes it easier to notice when a source stops answering it. We favor small, repeatable reading habits. Identify one question, record what the source can answer and leave an explicit place for what remains unknown.

Pause at this point

Collecting a large pile of links can conceal that none addresses the central uncertainty. Try the habit on one statement before moving to the next source. Keep a plain-language question, the part of the document that addresses it and the unanswered portion. A manageable reading step is more useful than a growing pile of unconnected links.

A small reading habit

Define the output before opening another page. Keep the question, the source reference and the remaining limitation together so that a later reader can reconstruct the reasoning.
